The Urban Artist Yalee’s, Hangover is featured as the first single off the The Luvstep & Hip Hop movie soundtrack. Yalee who hails originally from Dayton, Ohio was raised in a musical family but had no idea that singing, writing, and entertaining would ultimately become his passion. Yalee armed with natural talent and a burning desire to become a major recording artist set off for New York City to turn his DREAMS 2 REALITY. Yalee said,” “I went from living in the projects and urban neighborhoods until high school, before moving to the suburbs, which was a huge culture change,” Yalee explains.
“That’s why you will hear a mix between Pop and Hip Hop music in my songs.” Watching to the video to his track Pretty Girl Dance (P.G.D.), you can definitely see inventiveness in Yalee’s ability to sing, perform, and write cross genre tracks.

Back to the soundtrack, this is collaborative effort between Deetown Entertainment, D2R LIVE and music legend Nile Rodgers. The Soundtrack has several tracks that cater to urban music aficionado, whose looking for refreshing vibes outside the corporate humdrum that’s packaged to urban crowd. The soundtrack can be listened at www.luvandhiphop.com ; I love some of the other tracks too such as the soulful Fever Rising. The track Hangover however is well produced without being overdone and who hasn’t had one those Hangover days in the city that never sleeps. The video is gracefully done, flows very well with the theme at the heart of the song.
